How to Search for Podcasts in PitchDB

1. The Search Bar:

At the top of the Podcast page, you’ll find the search bar. Simply input the name of a podcast or a topic you’re interested in and press ‘Enter’. The system will then display a list of podcasts that match your keywords.

Also you will see a list of recommended keywords based on your profile. Click on one of these keywords to see a list of podcasts about that topic.

2. Filters:

Aside from the search bar, you can further narrow down your search results using the filters available:

Genres: Select the genre that aligns with your interests or the content you’re looking for. Click the arrow and a drop down menu will appear. You can scroll down to find the genre that best fits your target audience.

Language: Click the arrow and a drop down menu will appear with various languages. Select the language that fits your target audience.

Date of Publication: Use this filter to view podcasts published within a specific timeframe.

3. Adding Contacts:

Each podcast that is displayed has a “+ Add Contact” button to the right.

Once you have identified a podcast that aligns with your interests or goals use the ”+Add Contact” button next to the podcast name.

A box will pop up and ask you to use the drop down box and “Choose contact lists here”. You will scroll the list and find the one you want. Click on that list and your podcast will be added to that specific list. Be sure to click “Save to list” to complete adding the podcast.

To create a new list you will see the words “Create new list” and enter the name of the list. Make sure it is simple to remember. For example: podcasts or leadership

You can organize your list in a way that makes the most sense for your pitching goals.

4. Reviewing Podcast Details:

When you click on a podcast name, to the right, you will see the podcast description, name of the host or producers and a list of the most recent 10 episodes.

You can also listen to these episodes directly from the platform by clicking the blue triangle in the circle.
