How to Search for Media Outlets in PitchDB

1. Searching Bar:

At the top of the Media Outlets page, you’ll find the search bar, allowing you to look for specific media outlets. Just type in your keywords and press ‘Enter’ to display the corresponding results.

2. Filters:

On the right side of the search bar, use the filters to refine your search results according to city and state.

3. Tabs:

Underneath the search bar and filters, you can further categorize your search based on the type of media outlet by selecting the tabs for Magazines, Newspapers, Radio Stations, TV Stations or Blogs.

4. Adding Contacts:

Each podcast that is displayed has a “+ Add Contact” button to the right.

Once you have identified a Media Outlet that aligns with your interests or goals use the ”+Add Contact” button next to the Media Outlet’s name.

A box will pop up and ask you to use the drop down box and “Choose contact lists here”. You will scroll the list and find the one you want. Click on that list and your Media Outlet will be added to that specific list. Be sure to click “Save to list” to complete adding the Media Outlet.

To create a new list you will see the words “Create new list” and enter the name of the list. Make sure it is simple to remember. For example: newspaper, magazine or leadership

You can organize your list in a way that makes the most sense for your pitching goals.
