How to Search for Conferences in PitchDB
1. Searching Bar:
At the top of the Conferences page, you’ll find the search bar. Input specific keywords related to the conferences you’re looking for and press ‘Enter’. Also there are suggested keywords that you can use as well. The system will then display a list of matching conferences.
2. Filters:
Next to the search bar, use the filters to refine your search results based on:
Season: Select a specific time of year to find conferences occurring during that period.
Country: Choose the country where you’d like the conference to be located.
State: Filter the results further by choosing a specific state within the selected country.
City: For more precise results, select the city where you want the conference to be held.
3. Adding Contacts:
Once you’ve found a conference that aligns with your interests:
Each podcast that is displayed has a “+ Add Contact” button to the right.
Once you have identified a conference that aligns with your interests or goals use the ”+Add Contact” button next to the conference’s name.
A box will pop up and ask you to use the drop down box and “Choose contact lists here”. You will scroll the list and find the one you want. Click on that list and your conference will be added to that specific list. Be sure to click “Save to list” to complete adding the conference.
To create a new list you will see the words “Create new list” and enter the name of the list. Make sure it is simple to remember. For example: conference or leadership
You can organize your list in a way that makes the most sense for your pitching goals.
